New York, NY Today, the Future Energy Alliance announced a high six-figure, multi-platform public education campaign to giveNew Yorkers clear, fact-based information about advanced nuclear energy. The ad campaign comes as New York faces rising energy demand and costs while it continues to reduce emissions from the electric grid. The ads will run across digital media platforms over the next year to engage and inform New Yorkers directly.

“New Yorkers deserve energy solutions that are clean, reliable, and built by union labor,” said Donato A. Bianco, Jr., Vice President & New England Regional Manager, LIUNA. “Advanced nuclear energy can deliver all three, powering our communities while creating thousands of good-paying union jobs and helping keep energy costs predictable for working families. This campaign is about making sure people have the facts to understand the role nuclear can and should playin our energy future.”
“Advanced nuclear builds on the proven reliability of New York's existing fleet to provide clean, safe energy that New Yorkers can count on 24/7, without the price volatility that too often drives up utility bills,” said Mason Emnett, Senior Vice President of Public Policy, Constellation. “By expanding our commitment to cost-stable, around-the-clock power, nuclear remains a critical piece of a more affordable and reliable energy future.”
